Message and bring as much of it to light as I can. The scenario begs the question: at what point and why did it not go as planned?

I dont know the specifics of the whole project, but I do know a few things that set an image. I have heard nothing but good things about these guys and their work and then there's this post about how awful they were on this one incident. No one can say with any weight that they are horrible at what they do. It just really seems to me that there was a time constraint put on the job. When you see welds like that, you know the time wasn't put into it and someone made a decision against their better judgement for something they considered more important at that time. The only thing I can think of is the time element and that's what I went on in my post. I dont know if this is the case or not, but I do not believe that was something they planned to do in that manner. The rest of the issues have that same general appearance to them too.. The engine was one of the first things they built and it is the hardest and most meticulous thing to build and it is apparently working just fine. Once the engine is built, the rest of it is peripheral. Only problem is, although the peripherals are easy, there are so many of them that it is easy to overlook even when you aren't under a time constraint. I know this because on each occasion I have put an engine in, there is always something you forget. And with a non-stock setup, I'm sure that will be even more apparent.

I'm not trying to downplay that when you pay for something, it should be delivered as it was agreed. All I am trying to do is make sense of it and identify where things bottomed out. Im in an interesting position because I know both you and the Z1 guys and like the both of you. You and I have done business before and Z1 and I have done business before. I just thinking in terms of where a solution can be found and I think it starts with understanding where things went wrong.
